2. Privacy Disclosure
This document informs you of our policies regarding the permissions the App needs in order to function, and the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the App.

1. Phone number: The app collects your mobile phone number in order to function. Once a ride request is accepted, either ride mate might need to call the other to resolve any issue; when Driver arrives at Rider's location, Driver needs to call and get Rider.
2. Location: Your location is tracked when the app is active. The App doesn't use background location tracking; the App collects location data to enable distance calculation, driving navigation.
3. Gmail address: The app identifies you by your active Gmail address. To achieve that, the App needs you to grant the Access Contact permission. We also use your gmail address to communicate with you.
4. Your name: This is your preferred name which your riding mates will address you as. It doesn't have to be your legal name.
5. Your residential Address: For drivers, to determine who are your nearby riders; for riders, drivers need to know where to pick you up and drop you off.
6. Vehicle License Plate #: This applies to Drivers only. This data helps Riders identify their Driver and give them peace of mind

Your Personal Data mentioned above (Location, phone number, Gmail address, your name, your residential address and Driver's Vehicle license plate #) are encrypted and securely transferred to, and stored at, our remote mysql database server using HTTPS connection.


3. Changes to the Policy
We may update the Policy whenever necessary, and you are advised to review the Document periodically for any changes. The effective date of the Document is 2024-02-16 (yyyy-MM-dd UTC). Contact info@deedeegroup.com for any questions.
