1. Definitions
1.1 The App: Grady app
1.2 "we" or "us", "our": Deedee Group
1.3 You, your, user, users: The adult user
1.4 The Policy, the Document: this Privacy Policy
1.5 Identifiable Personal data (IPD): Your name, Gmail address, phone #,IP addeess and physical address; and it also includes vehicle license plate # for driver users.


2. Privacy Disclosure
This document informs you of our policies regarding the permissions the App needs in order to function, and the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the App.
2.1 Required permissions:
2.1.1 Location permission
2.1.1.1 The App only enables Location tracking when the app is active. The App doesn't use background location tracking.
2.1.1.2 The App collects location data to enable distance calculation, driving navigation.
2.1.2 Phone permission
2.1.2.1 The App uses this permission to detect and enter phone numbers for users so that users don't have to enter it manually.
2.1.2.2 The App doesn't use this permission to make integrated phone calls.
2.1.2.3 The App doesn't use this permission to manage your phone calls.
2.1.2.4 Users may need to call each other regarding an order via your device's default phone app.
2.1.2.5 We don't sell your phone number to any third party.
2.1.3 Access Contacts permission
2.1.3.1 The App frees you from memorizing another set of login credentials by logging you in automatically once you're identified by your Gmail address of your logged-in Google account. To achieve that, the App needs you to grant the Access Contact permission.
2.1.3.2 The App doesn't use this permission to access any other information.
2.1.3.3 We also use your gmail address To communicate with you.
2.1.3.4 We don't sell your email address to any third party.
2.2 Identifiable Personal Data (IPD) Safety:
2.2.1 Reasons IPD are needed
2.2.1.1 Your name: This is your preferred name by which you will known as. It doesn't have to be your legal name.
2.2.1.2 Gmail address: The app identifies you by your Gmail address.
2.2.1.3 Address
2.2.1.4 Cell phone #: Once an order request is accepted, either user (mate or driver) might need to call the other to resolve any issue; when Driver arrives at Mate's location, he needs to call the Mate.
2.2.1.5 Vehicle License Plate #: This applies to Drivers only. This data helps Mates identify their Driver.
2.2.2 To facilitate grocery delivery, the mate matching service and for the safety of you and other users, we collect users' Personal Data.
2.2.3 Your Personal Data are encrypted and securely transferred to, and stored at, our remote mysql database server using HTTPS connection.
2.2.4 We never disclose your IPD to anyone unless under a court order.
2.2.5 Account deletion: You can delete immediately your account, including your IPD, if there is no order associated with your account.
2.3 Cookies are used on our website


3. Changes to the Policy
We may update the Policy whenever necessary, and you are advised to review the Document periodically for any changes. The effective date of the Document is 2022-11-06 (yyyy-MM-dd UTC). Contact info@deedeegroup.com for any questions.
